Gene Savransky, MD, is an interventional nephrologist specializing in dialysis access management. He provides critical maintenance and management of vascular accesses for dialysis patients. Dr. Savransky is the medical director of American Access Care Suffolk County.
Dr. Savransky is a graduate of the Kharkiv State Medical Academy in Ukraine. After immigrating to the United States, he completed his residency and fellowship training in internal medicine, pulmonary diseases and critical care.
He previously served as the medical director of the Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit at Montefiore Medical Center. He was also trained in vascular procedures by published experts and has co-authored numerous articles on vascular repair techniques. Dr. Savransky currently holds an academic appointment as Assistant Professor of Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Dr. Savransky is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease and critical care by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
