Dr. Dietrich Schultze is an interventional radiologist with more than 20 years of experience specializing in patient treatment using minimally invasive image-guided techniques. He provides care for a variety of vascular conditions, including peripheral artery disease, varicose veins, uterine fibroids, hemorrhoids and varicoceles, as well as dialysis access management. Dr. Schultze is medical director at Connecticut Access Care/Connecticut Image Guided Surgery where he treats patients using the most up-to-date, pain-free techniques to help improve their quality of life.
Dr. Schultze earned his medical degree from Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. He went on to complete his residency in radiology at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont followed by a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont.
Dr. Schultze is board certified in diagnostic radiology, as well as vascular and interventional radiology. Dr. Schultze has held academic appointments including Assistant Professor of Radiology. He is a member of the American Roentgen Ray Society, Radiologic Society of North America, and the Society of Interventional Radiology.
