Jacob L. Beltz, MD is a Vascular and Interventional Radiologist whose sub-specialty interests are in the fields of Interventional Oncology, Women’s Health, Dialysis Medicine, Pediatrics and specific procedures, such as Geniculate Artery Embolization for knee osteoarthritis. After moving from Nebraska with his parents due to military relocation, he has called Augusta, Ga home since 1997, and now calls Augusta Vascular Center his practice home.
Dr. Beltz graduated from Mercer University School of Medicine, Savannah. Wake Forest University, Baptist Hospital provided his internship training in General Surgery. His residency training in Diagnostic Radiology with Early Specialization in IR certificate, was earned at Memorial University Health Medical Center, and a one-year Fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill immediately following as capstone training, commenced June 2023.
Dr. Beltz is board eligible for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, for which he is actively obtaining certification, and is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, American College of Radiology and state and local medical societies. He is proud and excited for the opportunity to treat the patients of his home within the CSRA, and building his practice and expertise with the greatly experienced Vascular and Interventional Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, and staff of Augusta Vascular Center.
