Dr. Brouillette earned his medical degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. He went on to complete his internship and residency in internal medicine at University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, AL, with a year of further training as chief medicine resident for BHS Residency Program.
