Jonah Licht, MD is an interventional nephrologist who has dedicated his career to improving the lives of dialysis patients. Dr. Licht specializes in dialysis access management, the treatment of arterial steal syndrome and the management of tunneled catheters. He also specializes in PICC and Port placements for long term antibiotic care and chemotherapy. Dr. Licht is the founder and Medical Director of Providence Access Care in Providence, Rhode Island.
Dr. Licht graduated cum laude from Georgetown University and was awarded a medical degree from State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. He completed an internal medicine residency at Brown Medical School and a nephrology fellowship at Cornell Medical Center.
Dr. Licht is a member of the American Society of Nephrology, American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology, and the Rhode Island Medical Society. He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Brown Medical School and is actively involved in the nephrology training program. He is licensed in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and New York. He lives in Providence, Rhode Island with his wife and three children.
Dr. Licht is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology and is certified in Vascular Access Procedures by the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology.
