Kamran Karimi, MD is an interventional nephrologist specializing in dialysis access management. He performs the latest in minimally invasive treatments and provides a broad range of services for dialysis access management patients including fistula salvage, angioplasty, thrombectomy, stenting and more. Dr. Karimi earned his medical degree from Tehran Azad University in Tehran, Iran and completed his internal medicine residency at NYU Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, where he was named intern of the year for three consecutive years. He completed his nephrology fellowship at Stoneybrook University Hospital, where he was Chief Fellow, and also Vice President of the Graduate Medical Education Committee (GMEC).
Dr. Karimi is a member of the Medical Council of Iran, and both the Iranian American Medical Association and the American Medical Association as well as the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology.
