Peter Thomas Kennealey, MD

Medical Director & Transplant Surgeon

Peter Kennealey, MD is the medical director of the Azura Surgery Center Lowry. He is also the Surgical Director of the Kidney and Pancreas Transplant Programs at the University of Colorado Hospital.

Dr. Kennealey earned his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois. He completed his residency in general surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis, Indiana followed by fellowships in transplant surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts and surgical oncology research at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, New York.

Dr. Kennealey is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Transplantation, International College of Surgeons, American Society of Transplant Surgeons, Massachusetts General Hospital Surgical Society, and American College of Surgeons.
