Mark Song, MD is a board certified vascular surgeon with more than 20 years expertise specializing in minimally invasive dialysis access maintenance procedures including arteriovenous fistula and graft examination for endovascular intervention, as well as catheter placement and management for hemodialysis patients. Dr. Song treats patients at Azura Vascular Care Union in Union, New Jersey.
As Chief Surgical Officer, Dr. Mark Song, provides clinical leadership and strategic direction for Azura's Access Creation Service Line. He works closely with medical and administrative leaders to improve quality, efficiency, and consistency in vascular access services while supporting the recruitment, development, and mentorship of vascular surgeons.
Dr. Song earned his medical doctorate from SUNY Downstate Medical Center Brooklyn in Brooklyn, New York where he also completed his residency and fellowship in vascular surgery. He is active in vascular surgery professional associations including serving as secretary and president-elect for the New York Society for Vascular Surgery and is a member of the Board of Directors at the Brooklyn and Long Island Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Song has contributed to research and published extensively in professional journals including The FASEB Journal, American Journal of Cardiology, and the Journal of the Society for Vascular Medicine and Biology, among others. Mark Song, MD is board certified by the American Board of Surgery-General Surgery and Vascular Surgery and the National Medical Board of Examiners.
