Dr. Patetsios is a vascular surgeon with more than 20 years expertise specializing in minimally invasive dialysis access maintenance procedures including arteriovenous fistula and graft examination for endovascular intervention, as well as catheter placement and management for hemodialysis patients. He also specializes in the treatment of Peripheral Arterial Disease. Dr. Patetsios treats patients at American Access Care in Queens, Great Neck, and The Bronx.
Dr. Patetsios earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry at New Jersey Rutgers Medical School in Piscataway, New Jersey. He completed a surgical residency at The State University of New York, Health Science Center of Brooklyn in Brooklyn, NY, followed by a vascular surgery fellowship at Baylor University in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Patetsios is a faculty member of the Society for Vascular Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, and the Jesse E. Thompson Vascular Surgery Society.
