Shukhrat Artikov, MD, is an interventional nephrologist specializing in the critical maintenance, management and treatment of vascular accesses for dialysis patients. Dr. Artikov treats patients at Snapfinger Vascular Access in Decatur, Georgia.

After earning his medical degree, Dr. Artikov completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Rochester General Hospital in New York, followed by a residency in surgery at the National Research Center of Surgery in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Subsequently, he completed a fellowship in nephrology and hypertension, as well as a fellowship in interventional nephrology at Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Florida.
He is the author of several articles on arteriovenous fistulas and an active member of American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology and American Society of Nephrology.
Dr. Artikov is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology.
